Limited warranty is valid for 12 months from date of purchase and covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

WHAT'S COVERED:•

Manufacturing defects in materials
• Defects in workmanship under normal use
• Structural failures due to manufacturing defects

WHAT'S NOT COVERED:

Greenlane Gear (Pty) Ltd's warranty obligations do not extend to:

1. IMPROPER USE
• Use exceeding stated weight capacity or specifications
• Commercial or industrial use of residential products
• Outdoor use of indoor-only products
• Failure to follow care and maintenance instructions

2. CUSTOMER-CAUSED DAMAGE
• Damage from incorrect assembly (see Assembly Requirements in our product descriptions as well as below)
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Damage during customer transportation or relocation
• Normal wear and tear

3. EXTERNAL FACTORS
• Damage from acts of God (floods, fires, earthquakes, lightning)
• Damage from accidents or impacts
• Damage from pest infestation
• Exposure to extreme conditions outside normal residential use


⚠️ ASSEMBLY REQUIREMENTS

Many of our products require customer assembly. The structural integrity and safe use of these products depends on correct assembly according to the instructions provided.

ASSEMBLY CHECKLIST:

✓ Read all instructions completely before starting
✓ Use only the hardware and tools specified
✓ Tighten all fasteners to the torque specifications provided
✓ Follow the assembly sequence exactly as shown
✓ Inspect the completed assembly before use

IMPORTANT: If you are uncertain about any assembly step or do not have the required tools or skills, we strongly recommend hiring a qualified professional.

ASSEMBLY-RELATED ISSUES:

The warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting  from incorrect assembly, including but not limited to:
• Missing or improperly installed fasteners
• Failure to follow the assembly sequence
• Use of incorrect tools or hardware
• Modifications during assembly

However, if you believe the assembly instructions were unclear or components were defective, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and may provide warranty coverage at our discretion.
